What you won't learn from my bio

I LOVE getting up at 3:00 am every morning, doing my Bible Study, fitness training and spending the first few hours of the day alone. I love to think, plan and problem solve during these quiet hours of the day while most of America is still asleep. I absolutely LOVE to work and see it as a "Get To" not a "Have To!" I am still madly in love with my wife after 30 years together and family is everything to me considering mine was so fragmented growing up. In my downtime, you can catch me reading a book or watching a movie in my Mancave!

Anthony Flynn is the Chief Executive Officer of Covenant House Texas, a leading nonprofit organization in Houston dedicated to providing housing and comprehensive support services to youth experiencing homelessness. Flynn joined Covenant House Texas in 2025, coinciding with the organization’s opening of a new, 104,000-square-foot campus in Montrose, which will allow the organization to provide sleeping accommodations for up to 150 youth nightly, as well as many support services needed to help homeless youth ages 18 – 24, as they recover from the trauma of homelessness and trafficking and work toward a new future.

With more than two decades of experience leading nonprofits, Flynn has a proven record of strategic leadership and community impact. Prior to joining Covenant House Texas, he served as CEO of WorkFaith, a nonprofit offering faith-based training and coaching for individuals seeking long-term employment. Under his leadership, WorkFaith expanded its reach to serve over 21,000 clients, consistently increased revenue year over year, and launched an on-demand training platform that enabled clients to access programs on their own schedule. Flynn also founded The Gifted Education Foundation in Atlanta, which supports first-generation college graduates and develops leaders from low-income communities. A recognized executive coach and public speaker, he serves on the Fast Company Executive Board and writes on topics that help senior executives enhance productivity and organizational impact.

Holding a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Memphis and a Master of Arts in Religion from Memphis Theological Seminary, Flynn combines his business acumen with a deep commitment to service. He is passionate about helping youth experiencing homelessness recover from trauma, gain independence, and thrive.

At Covenant House Texas, Flynn leads a new era of growth, impact and transformative care, ensuring the organization’s mission of providing shelter, love, and hope continues to reach more young people in need.

I hope to inspire every person that comes in contact with us to contribute to our Triple H Method of eradicating youth homelessness in Texas!” Housing (Shelter); Habits (Life Skills); Hustle (Work/Work Ethic)
