I’m truly grateful for my family. What I am most proud of in my life is my son, Noah! He brings immeasurable happiness and excitement to my life.
Felicia Broussard oversees the funding pipeline to ensure diversified revenue generation to meet organizational goals. Through the implementation of strategic and heart-centered relationship-building, Felicia has invited individuals, foundations, corporations and churches and organizations to invest in the transformational mission of Covenant House Texas. Creating authentic collaborations that bridge the mission with donor motivation remains the core of the revenue-generating practices in the Development Department. Felicia and the team of committed fundraising professionals believe that the needs of the organization are best met with intentional, transparent approaches that inspire donors to contribute time, treasure and talent to change the immediate and future trajectory of youth facing homelessness. The successful completion of the recent Building for Life Capital Campaign evidences the lasting impact that results from collaborative leadership, shared purpose and community engagement. Felicia works diligently to make this a pillar of engagement for Covenant House Texas.
Previously, Felicia served in the advancement department of Ronald McDonald House Houston overseeing all special events and donor stewardship. Prior to her time in Houston, Felicia directed a Student Affairs department of higher education professionals in the recruitment, retention, academic success and graduation of undergraduate students at North Carolina State University. As a course instructor, leadership development presenter, Greek Life/Student Activities advisor she supported students in their journey from orientation to degree completion, and a successful transition in their career. Felicia chaired university-wide milestone celebrations, served on the student union capital rebuild committee, and led numerous student mission trips into some of the most destitute areas in our country.
Felicia earned her BA in Psychology at Miami University, and Masters degree at North Carolina State University. She is an active member of Wheeler Avenue Baptist Church where she serves in the Children’s Ministry and ACTS Theatre Arts Ministry. She also serves as a Board Member of Together for Good Ministries, Inc. and is a member of several philanthropic organizations in the Houston community.
With over two decades of leadership in both higher education administration and mission-focused, donor-centered fundraising, Felicia is fully committed to building a foundation of support through the active cultivation of meaningful relationships with donors, corporate partners, churches and organizations, ensuring the growth and sustainability of Covenant House Texas. With a firm commitment to serving the Lord, authentic storytelling, strategic engagement, and evidence of impact, Felicia has been a part of the transformational growth and expansion of Covenant House Texas for over eight years
