Lereca Monik is the Chief External Affairs Officer for Covenant House Texas, where she is charged with the strategic leadership of three closely interwoven functions: development,, and marketing communications. Her primary objectives are to significantly boost revenue generation and elevate brand visibility nationally, ensuring sustained growth, enhanced and a more robust market presence statewide.  Lereca is a turnaround development executive with a track record of securing multi-year catalytic investments. She has successfully constructed mission-driven fund-development and communication plans to achieve desired results, guiding teams in fostering and cultivating constituent relationships and converting prospects into principal investors. 

Lereca is a mentor, coach, and workshop facilitator at Rice University’s Center of Philanthropy & Nonprofit Leadership, a Grace Church Garden Oaks member, and the proud mother of LeReine. She enjoys long walks in the park, reading, and helping others reach their personal and professional goals through “The AGAPE Advantage,” her method for incorporating love into daily life.
