What you won't learn from my bio

Both of my parents were the first in their families to immigrate to the United States, and they met here in Houston, TX. I was the second-born and raised as a Mexican-American, becoming the first in my family to achieve many milestones—from college graduate to executive leader. I’m a born-and-raised Houstonian and a mom to boy–girl twins! My favorite dessert is cheesecake, and even on my birthday I prefer it over a traditional cake.
